Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race on Saturday 30 March

Dear Oxonian,
We are delighted to propose that you join Oxbridge members at the Wild Rover (100 Rue Joseph II 1000 Brussels), a central and welcoming sports bar, to enjoy the annual Oxford versus Cambridge Boat Race, courtesy of the big screens available. Please note that the venue has been changed from the Wild Geese to its sister bar the Wild Rover, which is next door to the Wild Geese but with its entrance around the corner at 100 Rue Joseph II.

The 78th women’s boat race will begin this Saturday, 30 March, at 15.46 , and the 169th men’s boat race will begin at 16.46, Brussels time (CEST). Importantly, a sporting Cantab member, Robert Stanbury, will administer the race time challenges and provide a bottle of bubbly for the winners of both the women’s and men’s race time estimates.
The Wild Rover opens at 12.00 and can offer a limited take away menu of nacchos, cheese burgers, fish and chips or beef in Guinness stew. Members are welcome to come along as from 12.00 to eat or later to watch, comment, relax, in an informal, convivial, atmosphere, embellished by the drinks and food, served on request, at the Wild Rover.
Oxbridge members look forward to seeing you at this traditional event.

Best regards,
Oxford Society of Belgium
