The Oxford and Cambridge Societies of Belgium warmly invite you to meet the new students and researchers starting a course at Oxford or Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in Brussels before the start of term.

We are pleased to announce that Her Excellency, Alison Rose, the British Ambassador to Belgium, has graciously accepted our invitation to this year’s Freshers’ Event. She will give a short speech welcoming Oxbridge Freshers at 8pm. The Ambassador read modern history at Newnham and is a member of the Cambridge Society of Belgium. 

Refreshments: drinks and light refreshments can be purchased (cash and credit/debit cards will be accepted)

Guests: you are welcome to bring a guest

Dress code: there is no dress code; please wear whatever you feel comfortable in
